I didn’t have any walnuts for this recipe so I used pecans. I used non dairy butter sub and a diy non dairy buttermilk trick by using 1 tbsp. vinegar per cup of non dairy milk and letting it sit for 5-10 minutes. Also, there is no bake time on the card so if you make this keep an eye on it since every oven is different.
Banana Nut Bread
Ingredients
3/4 c or 1 1/2 sticks of butter or margarine, softened to room temp
2c sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2c buttermilk
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
3c flour
4 medium or 3 large bananas 1c or 4oz chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy then add the eggs. Sift together dry ingredients. Add flour mixture and buttermilk alternating between the two. Mix in bananas and nuts. Divide between 2 greased loaf pans and bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes rotating halfway through. Test doneness with a toothpick to see if it comes out clean

I definitely have made this several times. Great staple recipe and works well as muffins too. I have also made this with coconut sugar and it came out just as delicious.
