I definitely remember having this at a cousins baby shower a few years ago. I only knew it was Kathryn’s recipe because my other cousin pointed it out to me and damn it was good.
I made this with canned salmon and fresh parsley initially as the written recipe states but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to.
The second time however I used vacuum sealed smoked salmon and dried parsley and it was it soooo much better.

Salmon Dip
Ingredients
4oz Package smoked salmon, diced
8 oz. cream cheese
1-2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. grated onion
3tbs parsley fresh or 1tbs dried
1/4-1/2 tsp liquid smoke(if using plain salmon)
Instructions
In a bowl combine all ingredients together and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving
For a smoother dip, in a food processor skip grating the onion and pulverize it in your food processor first. Next add in lemon juice, parsley and cream cheese and blitz together until combined. Lastly add in the smoked salmon and mix for about 1 minute or until desired texture.
