My source says that Kathryn was a frequent muffin maker because my grandpa really enjoyed them and she remembers Bran muffins being frequent in the rotation. I made this recipe twice, not because I thought it was THAT good but, because I forgot to take a photo. That being said this is good recipe, the flavors are very fall tasting and my mom loved them.
(makes ALOT, I halved the recipe)
15oz Raisin Bran cereal
5tsp baking soda
2c chopped pecans
Mix together sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and set aside. In another bowl combine eggs, oil, butter milk and vanilla. Add in the flour mixture, cereal and nuts. Divide into lined muffin tins and bake at 350 for 20-25min
