I don’t think this recipe is bad but it could’ve been better. This had the taste of a lemon mousse with some pear bits. I will also admit that I was impatient and added everything to my jell-o too early therefore my pears sank to the bottom I don’t think I’ll be reaching for this recipe in the future but I will be using what I learned in future recipes.
8oz cream cheese(room temperature)
16oz pears, drained but save the juice
1c boiling water
3/4c pear juice
3oz box of lemon jell-o
1 container of cool whip
Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water then add in the pear juice. Let mixture sit until it starts to thicken. Makes in the cream cheese and pears. Fold in Cool Whip, pour into your dish of choice and refrigerate overnight.
