This cake has good flavor but is DENSE. We ate it plain and used it for strawberry shortcakes. There’s not a lot to say about this pound cake other than it’s not the only pound cake in the recipe box. Also, I forgot to take a picture of the cake by itself : /
Pound Cake
Ingredients
1c butter or margarine
1 1/2c sugar
5 eggs
2c flour
1 1/2tsp salt
1tsp vanilla
Instructions
Beat together butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in eggs and beat for 3-5 minutes. Add in the rest of the ingredients and combine. Bake in a prepared loaf pan at 350 degrees for 60-80 minutes
