This is so easy to make and it lasts a while in a way that if you have company it won’t last. Definitely make sure there’s other people around to enjoy these because one moment you’re just “having a few” and the next half the container is gone. The only thing I would change is using a little less nutmeg because the flavor can be strong
Sugar Pecans
Ingredients
1/2c brown sugar
1c sugar
1/3c water
1tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/8tsp salt
1 1/2c pecan halves
Instructions
In a sauce pan mix all ingredients except for the pecans. Bring to boil and cook about five minutes stirring until it reaches 236° on a candy thermometer or the softball stage. Mix in nuts until they cling together, pour onto wax or parchment lined sheet pan and separate halves while warm with your spoon. Cool completely
