Tuna for two and Two for tuna. Did I think this recipe was a little weird? Yes. Are there weirder recipes in the queue? 100%. Don’t knock it till you try it. Unofficially I call this tuna pot pie since it has the Elements of chicken pot pie but with tuna. If you like pot pie and tuna casserole I suggest giving this a try. Also, this will easily feed 3-4 people as an entrée with a side so if you really make it for two bring your appetite.
Tuna (or Chicken) for two
Ingredients
1 pie crust (top and bottom)
1c or 12oz canned tuna or cooked chicken
10oz frozen peas and carrots
1/2c chopped onion
1 can (10oz) cream of mushroom
1/3c milk
1/2tsp poultry seasoning
Instructions
Combine tuna, peas and carrots, chopped onion, cream of mushroom, milk and poultry seasoning. Line a pie dish with pie crust and fill with the mixture. Top with second pie crust and bake at 375 for 45 to 50 minutes
