Veg-All Casserole

I wanted to like this but it was not my cup of tea. It was just way too creamy for the amount of stuff in the casserole. I used a regular sized can of veg all but I suspect the large size would make a better ratio. I did make this twice so I gave it more than one chance but I can’t advocate for this recipe. Sorry mamaw, this isn’t for me.

Veg-all Casserole

1 large can of veg all
1c water chestnuts, sliced or diced
1c chopped onion
1c grated cheese
1/2c mayo
1/2c sour cream
Ritz crackers, around 1 sleeve

Sauté your onion in a little bit of oil till softened. Combine all ingredients except crackers and put in a small greased casserole dish. Bake at 350 until bubbly, about 30 minutes. Top with crushed Ritz crackers and bake 10 more minutes. Let rest 5-10 minutes before eating
