Waffles

I made this recipe back in May and held off posting because I felt it could be better. Originally I didn’t whip the eggs so much and the waffles were good but the texture was a little chewy. During the remake I beat the eggs for about 7 minutes and gently fold them into the batter resulting in a fluffier waffle. Everyone at breakfast agreed that it was better the second time around . 10/10 Will be making these waffles again.

Waffles

Ingredients
2c Sifted flour
5 level tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2c milk
6tbs melted butter
2 eggs

Instructions
Sift dry ingredients together three times. Add milk and melted butter, set aside. In a separate bowl whip your eggs 5-7minutes with a hand or stand mixer until light, fluffy and about tripled in size. Fold the egg whites into the batter and Cook in your waffle iron 5-7 minutes
