This pie is super sweet and extremely easy. I took the “pie cherries” as meaning cherry pie filling and when I did the light research that seemed like the most common interpretation. The taste is that of a lemon no bake cheesecake with a cherry topping. I thought it was a little too sweet but really paired well with the crunch of graham cracker crust. This would also work well with a blueberry or raspberry pie filling .
Cherry Cream Cheese Pie
1 Graham cracker crust, store bought or homemade
1 can sweetened condensed milk
8oz cream cheese, Softened to room temp
1/3c lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
21oz can of cherry pie filling
With an electric mixer beat together the condensed milk and cream cheese till smooth. Beat in the lemon juice and vanilla. Refrigerate overnight for best results. Top with cherry pie filling and enjoy.
