If you like apple crisp you have to try this dessert. This apple crisp took almost no time and minimal effort. I will say don’t add extra apples because you think there isn’t enough. I made this mistake and it took my crisp forever to to bake. So maybe if you want to add more apples make sure the layer isn’t too thick.
4c sliced apples
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2c cold butter,cut into small cubes
Butter a 9×13 baking dish. Add in your sliced apples , sprinkle with salt and mix. In a medium sized bowl combine the flour, sugar and cinnamon. Using your hands, a pastry cutter or a fork cut in your butter with the flour mixture until it resembles coarse sand. Top your apples with the crumble mixture and bake at 350F for 45 minutes. Serve warm.
