This recipe being a toll house recipe is unconfirmed. I did my light research and didn’t come up with any tollhouse recipe that matches this one. So, either this isn’t a tollhouse recipe or it’s from one of their cookbooks. Either way, I enjoyed these cookies quite a bit. I had to make up my own directions since all I had to go on is what you can see on the recipe card above.

Chocolate Lovers Cookies
Ingredients
2 3/4c flour
1 1/4tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2c butter, melted and cooled slightly
1 1/2c brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
24oz chocolate chips
1c chopped pecans
Instructions
Before you start make sure you have time to refrigerate your cookie dough for a minimum of 2 hours but overnight is best.
In a small bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In the bowl of a stand mixer or using a hand mixer beat together your butter and sugar until well combined. Mix in the eggs until just incorporated then add the flour. Just before all the flour mixture is fully combined add in your chocolate chips and pecans. Cover your cookie dough and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours. When ready preheat the oven to 350 and prepare your sheet pans. Using a cookie scoop or spoons portion your cookie dough into golf ball sizes. Slightly flatten the tops of your doughballs to help with spreading. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Mine were done at 10.
